UDG Launches Multilingual Chatbot to Strengthen Support for International Students

As a part of ME Study in English project, the University of Donja Gorica (UDG) has launched the first university chatbot in Montenegro, introducing a new digital service designed to make information about studying at UDG more accessible to prospective and current students.

Available 24/7 in Montenegrin, English and Albanian, the chatbot provides quick access to information on study programmes, admissions, tuition fees and other important aspects of university life. Its multilingual functionality is particularly important for international students, students from the region and diaspora, helping them navigate available study opportunities and access essential information more easily.

The initiative represents an important step in strengthening UDG’s support for international students by facilitating their orientation, adaptation and inclusion before and during their studies. By reducing language and information barriers, the chatbot contributes to a more accessible and internationally oriented university environment.

Developed internally by the UDG team, the chatbot complements existing digital services such as UDG Inside and forms part of the University’s broader commitment to digitalisation, innovation and the internationalisation of higher education.
